You will need to register with HiBid, and then you will be able to submit a bid for an item. You can submit the next highest bid or a maximum bid. If the bid is $10 and you put in a max bid of $36, but no one bids against you, you will win the bid at $12 if the increments are $2. All items end with a soft close, which means if you bid in the last 30 seconds, the bidding window will be extended.

If you are the winning bidder for an item, you must pay for it and arrange for pickup or shipping. If you cannot pick up the item, we can provide shipping options for an additional fee. A winning bid is a legally binding contract.

When you have a booth space, you pay a monthly rental, and your sales must exceed rent before making a profit. Depending on your sales, this can sometimes add up to 50% or higher. If your sales are $500 but booth rental is $250, you are losing half of your sales, and you end up paying rent on the items that have not sold. You have to self-market, keep up your space during the owner's hours, deal with possible theft and damage to your inventory, have no certainty on sales, and wait for the right buyer to find your item. With an auction, you have a set date, reach a greater audience, and most of your items will sell at a fair market value.
